Whoever comes to see POOL headquarters in Emsdetten will notice one special feature: The company football ground.

At the initiative and under active participation of POOLgroup Managing Partner Jürgen Schürmann – active soccer player himself – the POOLgroup Football Team trains and plays here during the football season as often as possible.

Thus it is only consequent to support junior sportsmen. POOLgroup donated a complete set of football shirts to the D-Juniors of FC Gievenbeck in Münster, Westphalia. Here, Schürmann’s son follows in his father’s footsteps. Successfully: After an indoor tournament without being defeated and after a 3:0 victory in the finals on 10th of January, 2010, the team in his class can be proud of being “Town Champion 2010”.

And also the C-Junior girls of handball club Grün-weiß Nottuln enjoy their new shirts donated by the POOLgroup. The daughter of Frank Münsterkötter, chief financial officer of the POOLgroup, is a member of the team.
