The event management industry has been growing steadily over the past few years, and the interest of young people in apprenticeships in this business continues to increase at an outstanding rate.The POOLgroup has set itself the target of supporting this positive trend. We see young professionals as an investment in the future. Each year, we look forward to passing on the expertise of our experienced colleagues onto young and committed trainees.
We were one of the first companies in Germany to offer the course to become an event technician. And the interest of young people has not waned over the years; in fact the opposite is true. Each year we receive reams of applications for potential new event technicians who are interested in the wide spectrum of event technology. The sales and logistical career options within this industry are also very much in demand. This is why, in addition to the course to become an event technician, since 2009 we have also been offering the course to become an event manager, and since the summer of 2011, the course to become a warehouse logistician.
We provide special information days to give applicants a realistic impression of the different careers.
We have developed a rotation principle within the POOLgroup so that the contents of all the courses from the different areas can be taught seamlessly. The aim is to give the trainees an extensive knowledge of all areas of the event management industry by providing accompanying seminars and lessons within the company. And we have been successful: In recent years the trainees from our company have been the best in their year – nationwide.
