Special, high-ranking government events require considerable technical, logistical and organisational support. Even more so when they are international events. Such events reach out across the world. And we create the ideal conditions for them.
Many events in the political context are often held in attractive locations: historic buildings, castles, gardens, or even seaside resorts such as Heiligendamm in 2007. However, there is frequently a lack of infrastructure both for the event itself and for the work of the numerous journalists and television teams. In order to realise this you need experience, a high level of dedication and, sometimes, a bit of improvisation and lots of intuition.
Top politics requires the very best framework conditions. At the end of the day, the event organiser wants to be the perfect host. And the whole world should see. Furniture, equipment, conference, communication and event technology, framework programmes, press centres and lots more.
Around 5,000 journalists were accredited for the G8 summit in 2007. Yet there was nowhere for them to work. We created their workplace: IT equipment, Internet connections, telephone lines, a television centre and everything besides.
Munich, Cologne and Heiligendamm – we have looked after all of the G7 and G8 summits that have taken place in Germany to date. Such top class events naturally present particular challenges. We have overcome them and are happy to do so again at any time.
