Udo Jürgens is one of the greatest entertainers in German-speaking countries. For decades! And even still for a long time, as it looks like. Although he has already celebrated his 75th anniversary in 2009, Udo is still undefatigably. Year by year he is touring through Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Sometimes almost as a solo entertainer, only accompanied by a violinist, and sometimes accompanied by a complete orchestra under the direction of Pepe Lienhard, one of his long-standing companions while touring through the concert halls.

POOLgroup belongs to these companions, too. If you have ever joined an Udo Jürgens concert during the past 25 years, POOLgroup was involved in this event in most cases. Either being responsible for sound, for lighting or for video or at least for everything as in 2009.

The 2009 tour, comprising 60 concerts altogether, was divided into a spring and autumn half. Apart from the technical planning and realization of the tour POOLgroup was responsible for the creative part, too. On the basis of computer simulations of unit POOLcreation the artist and his management were in a position to preview details of the show and to decide on stage design including lighting and video projection.
