Every year, we receive around 300 applications from young people who want to start training with us. We are, of course, delighted with this high level of interest and take great pains to select precisely the applicants that are optimally suited to us and to the career. As part of this, we hold special information days, which present the careers in our industry both realistically and practically. Anyone who is then still interested is invited to an intensive individual interview, at which we get to know each other better.

Trainees are selected according to set criteria, as the coveted training places can be awarded only to the best applicants. This means there is a constant guarantee that the communication of know-how to talented young people also represents an investment in the future of the company.

Comprehensive Knowledge in Theory and Practice
 
 

Within the POOLgroup, we have developed a rotation principle, so all training content can be conveyed smoothly and with variety. As such, the prospective events technology specialists benefit from a sound knowledge transfer in the technical areas of audio, video and lighting technology. In-house training measures (e.g. event planning, service orientation, sound and lighting design) are provided in addition and our own sound studio is also available for this purpose.

The aim is to provide the young people with comprehensive knowledge from all areas of events technology, both through numerous associated seminars and in-house tuition. This has been a success: in recent years, trainees from our company have always been among the best in their age group – at state level.

Particularly in a technology-based environment such as ours, many things change very quickly. Here, our trained and longstanding staff also need to stay on the ball to keep their knowledge at a high level. We do a great deal in this area too. As such, seminars take place all year round, at which – for example – new equipment is presented and explained. We also provide English courses, as good language skills are essential for a company such as ours, working on an international level. Alongside in-house trainers, we also frequently invite external experts to pass on their know-how to our people.
